Finally

I have written the summary of the whole movie now, so I finished my blog!I hope you'll enjoy reading it!

Summary! (14 lines long)

Bridget Jones a journalist for the television, she has a relationship with lawyer Mark Darcy. She is a very clumsy woman. Sometimes she has several things to do for her work: like a parachute jump or go to Thailand. Bridget thinks that Rebecca Gillies, Marks’ beautiful colleague, cheats on her. Later Bridget concludes that it can’t be true, because she is a lesbian and likes Bridget!
At Bridgets’ work she meets her old boss Daniel Cleaver. She has flashbacks of earlier periods and again it looks like a nightmare for Bridget. Some time later Bridget has to go  to Thailand with Daniel Cleaver, to make a program about the Thai culture. Bridget and Mark ended their relationship a couple of months before she left to Thailand. Bridget Jones has to go to prison, because she has cocaïne in possession at the airplane out of Thailand. Mark helps her out of prison and has a fight with Daniel Cleaver, because Daniel knows that Bridget was arrested and he didn’t do anything to help her. Later Mark and Bridget have a relationship again. Mark asks Bridget ‘to marry him’ and she accepts. Bridgets’ parents get married for the second time.Bridget catches the weddingflowers and will be the next bride...

Summary of the movie: "Bridget Jones the edge of reason"

Parachute jump for Bridgets work 

Part 1

Bridget Jones is a journalist for the television.
She has a relationship with Mark Darcy, he is a lawyer. Bridget is very clumsy, she has to do a parachute jump for her work, she thought is was terrible because everything goes wrong. But her boss found it a big succes!!

Part 2


Bridget thinks that Mark cheats on her. Rebecca Gillies his beautiful colleague was with Mark in his house but Bridget didn't know there was a meeting. When she was working she met her old boss: Daniel Cleaver. He asked her to go out with him,but she refuses because she had another appointment. In the evening she goes to a party from Marks' work. But not everything is going well there.Bridget is failing again, her make-up is ruined, a strange man is trying to date her and she acts very clumsy again....

At the party there will be an annual quiz. Bridget knows the answers, but at the last question she give an wrong answer. Rebecca gives the good answer and she wins with her team. Bridget thinks Mark has no attention to her. They argue and Bridget leaves him. But than, Mark stays at Bridget's door, and says "Briget I love you". Later Mark and Bridget go on Ski holiday. But that goes wrong. Bridget has no talent for skiing. Mark has an other appointment. In fact he is on a workholiday and Rebecca is back again. Bridget thinks that she is pregnant from Mark, but the rash is negative. Bridgets' parents meet the parents of Mark. Bridget begins to doubt about the relation with Mark. Loves he her really or not..? At Marks home she hears the answering machine with the voice of Rebecca, Bridget is angry and asks Mark the truth. Indeed he is very annoining and that is what Bridget already expected...

Part 4

Bridget with; Ben & Jerry

Bridget is very sad because the relationship with Mark is broken. Bridget is single again and feels alone, six weeks later she only has a relationship with two guys: called Ben & Jerry. Bridgets' parents marry again. Bridget is their bridemaid, she finds it a stange idea. On Bridgets' work she gets an assignment; go to Thailand with Daniel Cleaver to make a program about the 'Thai culture'. A nightmare for Bridget, but she decides to go. In the plane she comes to sit next to Daniel. Bridget arrives in Bankok, she starts with recordings for the program. Bridget and Daniel have fun together. Bridget finds Daniel: clever and handsome. A friend of Bridget has a new relation in Thailand. Bridget get Magic Mushrooms, so she is dreaming, imagens Daniel calls her, she wants to hug him but falls.


Part 5 

Bridget in the prison

Daniel likes Bridget. Daniel kisses Bridget but he wants more and Bridget too, but than there will be a Thai prostitute in Daniels' room. Bridget is disappointed and wants to leave. The '(work)holiday' is almost over, and Bridget and her friend pack their bags. Her friend asks Bridget to put a snakestatue in her bag, because she has no soace left in her own. Bridget accepts. Once at the airport. Bridget walks in the direction of the plane and sees a policedog, she strokes him but than the dog smells at her luggage. The customs keep Bridget under aim of a shotgun. Bridget is arrested and must keep up with the custom. In the office a woman of the custom breaks the snakestatue. And than, what Bridget never expected: there's drugs in the statue. Bridget fears to go to prison , but it's reality . There she comes in a crowded cel. She has come out of het cel with the security. Mark Darcy comes to help her out the prison. Mark has arranged that Bridget only one week has to stay in the prison. Bridget is super happy but also sad, Marks has no feelings left for her. Bridget has a working relationship with the prisoners when she goes away she has gifts for them, like chocolat and a bra. Mark finds out that Daniel knows that Bridget was arrested and did nothing. Mark and Daniel have a quarrel, Mark wins. Daniel admits that he has left Bridget at the airport. In the meantime Bridget has arrived at the airport, where her parents are waiting. Bridget comes back home..

Part 6

Bridget with her friends

Once home are her friends there to surprise her. Her friends tell about Mark and that he still loves Bridget. Bridget goes to Mark immediately. She goes to Marks' place but when she arrives Rebecca opens the door. Bridget is disappointed because she thinks that mark has a relationship with Rebecca. But than Rebecca tells Bridget that she is a lesbian, Bridget can't believe it, but than Rebecca kisses Bridget. Bridget decides to goes away. On the road she is failing again. When she arrives at Marks' office, she walks in but it appears that Mark has a fundamental meeting for his work. She tells Mark that she loves him. Mark takes her to the corridor..

Part 7

In the corridor; Marks asks Bridget a question:
If she wants to marry him..(?)
Bridget is so happy and accepts.
Later on Bridgets' parents marry for the second time. And Mark is also invited, Bridget is so lucky. Then Bridget catches the weddingflowers. She will the next bride..
